I had a midas blenny and a pearly jawfish in a 75 that got a long just fine (until I added a yellow tang that made the jawfish go carpet surfing). They were probably together for 2-3 months with no issues. Doesn't answer the whole question but maybe someone else had a diamond and jawfish together. I think they would be fine in a large enough tank. I probably wouldn't do it in a 75 but something like a 180 I would think would be ok.
