Has anyone kept this fish in a smaller reef tank? I know they say it's not reef compatible but is that because it can be aggressive toward other fish, eats crustaceans or does it actually nip at corals?
Additionally, a "smaller reef" isn't a good idea. I QT'ed my Blue Spotted Puffer in a 55gal, and he became, what I equated to, space stressed. He paced the glass a lot of the time. Added him to my 125gal and he's settled in nicely.
Will eat whatever crustaceans he wants, and nips at some corals some of the time. Hardy softies and SPS can recover, but most LPS are doomed...
