Blue Euphillia

I once saw a picture of a blue Euphillia. Ever since I have been looking for such a color.

Did anybody ever see this color Euphillia?
Does anybody know of a person having a blue Euphillia?

I have seen it one as well. I am in the search again for a red frogspawn. I had first crack at a frag but got into a bad accident and had to put the coral money elsewhere...

The only place I've seen one is in Eric Borneman's book. If you find one, I imagine it will be pretty expensive but I'd buy it -- it's tough to find anything blue, and a blue hammer would be a stunning addition to any tank.

Its #1 on my list of must haves. I could swear I saw them about a year or so back, but they seem to have dissapeared since then.

I think there's a long going discussion as to whether a blue euphyllia actually exists, or if it's actually a bleached euphyllia that will eventually color up. I've seen lots of "blue" ones, but didn't put any stock in them staying blue...

i had a frag of a small blueish green one that i just sold.but it wasnt like neon more like powder blue.

I have seen blue Euphyllia. IMO it looks like a silver-tip E. parancora with the right lighting or macro shot to give it that blue appearance. Concerning red frogspawns, well I'm guessing that description just sold better than "rusty old bicycle chain" brown.

But, then again I am a self-admitted coral color nazi...
