Blue Eye Cardinals

Who has them? How's your success with them? Were they finicky eaters?

Currently I have a pair, one of which looks to be battered up. The fins are shredded and the other looks fine.
I was contemplating of pulling him out and setting up a separate tank for him to beef up abit but am I'm afraid of shocking the little guy. Should I stick him in the sump instead? Thoughts?

I have two shoals of them. They are rough shippers but once they are acclimated to your tank, should do fine. My tanks are relatively large so I have groups of 7 but two should be fine in your tank once they adjust.

I have 5 of them and have had them for about 2 years now. They eat Spectrum Pellets with the rest of my fish. Like said above, they are pretty hardy once they get through shipping.

I have 5 for about a year now. They didn't eat for about 10 days and were very shy. After they settled in they eat anything I put in but they really don't shoal, kinda just hang out in mini groups.
