Blue Hippo With Cotton-like Spots

My Blue Hipp has 3 cotton-like spots on its dorsal fin. The spots sre not ick. I need help finding out what it may be and how to treat it. Does anyone know what it could be and how to cure it? Thanks for any suggestions

You could start by looking up Lymphocystis. Its a virus and can start out on the fins and presents itself as
cotton-like patches"
