Blue Jaw Trigger in Reef ??

Those are nice ! But out of range . I was hoping you wouldn't say $1000+ . I won't get a rare one . I think for my first trigger I'll will try the red tail or blue throat . Is there anything special I need to know about triggers before I purchase one ?

And I'm guessing they are not aggressive towards humans? Lol

Blues are going to be considerably cheaper. Sargassum/redtail is around the $140 range but much better looking imo. Its one of my favorite fishes.

There's really nothing special that sets them apart from most other fish. Feed mysis, brine, squid, anything small and meaty really. My bluethroat even ate strips of nori that I put in for my tangs.

They aren't aggressive at all. They are easily trainable to eat from your fingers. If you do that they can accidentally bite. They may not look it but triggers have some pretty awesome teeth.

I have a blue throat and a sargassum in two different tanks and have never had any problems with either. Model citizens , my desjardi actually tries to bully my sargassum and he is smaller, but the sargassum just swims away or just stays there until the desjardi realizes he doesn't care and looses interests .
