Blue jaw trigger question

From what I heard they are reefsafe, but do they eat your invertebrate though?
Also I have a red tail sargassum trigger will those 2 be ok with each other?

I had one in my reef tank for about 1 year. He was great. Never touched my Fire Shrimp. But he did chomp down on about 4 of my green chromis in the tank that i saw. The other 5 also disappeared but don't know if he ate them. Which sucks because he chomped up a breeding pair i had

If you keep the blue jaw fed you should be fine. Not sure about mixing the blue jaw and red tail. I think a female would work but not sure about 2 males. I tired to add a male blue jaw with my male cross hatch and the cross hatch got nuts but was fine with the female.

I had a blue jaw in QT before I found out that they tend to eat smaller fish. Although very shy for a trigger, I didn't want to take a chance when it came to my gobies, clowns, and blennies. I'm sure many people report no problems mixing the BJT and small fish, but it's generally in the trigger's nature and within its natural diet. Like any fish, add with caution as a calculated risk, and keep well fed

Also forgot to mention that the BJT may go after ornamental shrimp. Most of what I've read on RC indicated that established shrimp should be safe. If you want to add new shrimp, do so with the lights out so that the BJT does not think of them as food.

i see now, yeah that's why i was a lil confuse if it's gonna eat any of my shrimps, but thanks again
