Thank you for your interest in the Blue Jaw Trigger. In the past we have had the unique opportunity to special order fish and coral for many of our Reef Central Customers. We enjoyed working with you to bring unique and rare items into your home aquariums. We understand that this service was unique to the industry and we are grateful that we were able to accommodate this. Some concerns have risen that has prompted the difficult decision to discontinue this service.
Our first concern is the level of service we will be able to continue to uphold. Our special order list had grown substantially and was consuming many hours of our staff’s time. Many of these special order items are difficult to obtain and our opportunities to receive them are limited. We feel that it would not be good customer service to place this special order and not be able to give a specific time frame of when to expect the item. Also, when that special order arrives we could have a space concern as some customers change their mind about receiving the item.
The primary reason for discontinuing this service is we feel that our overall customer service is affected. Since we are ‘saving’ these rare items for a few customers, our whole customer base is losing out on the opportunity of purchasing that item. Our current customers may not even be aware that we receive these items, as they do not appear on our Diver’s Den site. Our customers enjoy the thrill of logging on and seeing the new items that are loaded every night. Many wait for weeks before seeing the exact item they have been searching for. The excitement of that customer who purchases their ‘dream’ tank inhabitant is apparent and we want to continue providing rare and unique items to all our customers fairly.
The best way to stay informed is to sign up for the
RSS feed or you may wish to sign up for the
Diver's Den email alerts to receive instant notification on a daily basis of when specimens are available to order. These alerts were added to our site to help us provide the best customer service to all of our customers for these rare specimens.
