Blue Jaw trigger

Hey guys (and gals)
Does anyone have a blue jaw or pink tail trigger in their reefs? I'm thinking of adding one and was just looking from some feedback on what everyone thinks. Thanks!

I have one in mine, he has been in for about 2 months now. He dosen't bother anything. He is a very active fish and eats very well, even some nori once in a while. He was a bit skitish at first but is settling in well. If you want to stop out shoot me a pm.

Really nice! Do you have any nutrient issues with that many large fish? The trigger will go into my 75g SPS tank. Some have told me to do the Pink Tail since they will not get as big. What do you think?

Well i run a huge skimmer, a refugium and filter socks 24/7. So far so good. The skimmer pulls a ton of crud all the time. As far as size i have seen some pretty big Pink Tails. The other reason i went with the Bluejaw was the way their mouth opens. They prefer to eat from the surface to mid water. They will go to the bottom to eat but its a last resort.

It was custom made by Greg at Aquatic Tech. It stands about 5ft tall, venturi dual pump recirc. It gets the job done. I'm thinking about picking up a Reeflo 200 though. What skimmer are you running?

Mine is based on a Orca pump with a DIY body. The main body is 14" square and 28" tall. The base box is 20" square. All together it holds almost 30 gallons of water. Its fed by a OR3500. I'm not sure on the height overall but i use a ladder to clean it LOL

Pink Tail Triggres are not reef safe!
red tail triggers are
blue jaw and cross hatch are

Hnn yeah I knew cross hatch were (I just can't afford one) I thought that pink tails were. I guess ill go with the blue jaw. Thanks.

So I picked up a female blue jaw a few days ago. She is doing well. Eating great! I actually think that her favorite food is garlic soaked nori, as she isn't leaving much for the tangs. :). She is shy though. Hopefully in a few weeks she'll be more active.
