Blue Leather Coral

Does anyone have a blue-colored leather coral? Does anyone know I might acquire one, if such a mythical creature were to exist?
 
hello,

you might get an artificially coloured one (which is unnatural) - in true colours no blue ones exist.

I have a blue toadstool, it has white long tentacle polyps. I doubt very highly it's dyed. I got it as a small frags a few years ago and all of its new growth is blue.
 
I'd like to see a picture of that blue toadstool as well. This will be a first, if it exists...
 
It was sold to me as a blue frag two years ago. A lfs had the mother colony. He was in business for quite a long time and only seen two of them. The one he had and one ten years earlier. Pic taken with camera phone. I'll get a better one later. I had to aggregate it so the polyps retracted.

This is a better pic of the "blue" that's in it. It is a good comparison to the green in the green star polyp. It is tough getting the true blue color on the pics because of my light.

LOL. Sounds like your BLUE... I'm not trying to call you out, but if there was a blue toadstool, I would have seen it by now.... It's alright though, don't trip... Perception is in the eyes of the beholder.

J: That is a beautiful leather. Would that lfs still be in business and have the blue leather available? Long shot I know but doesn't hurt to ask....
 
Looked blue to me, was sold to me as a blue fingerleather by LiveAquaria. Not sure what's with the attitude here, either. Disappointing, but whatever.
 
Relax. I started a new thread for people to show off there blue toadstools. Lets see what the general consensus is. (no actinics btw)

im from cali, i know all and see all when it comes to reefing.... what i say goes..... blah, blah, blah.. this is the type of poster that gives this site the bad reputation it is getting...

ive seen many blue leathers come through the twin cities... some are different shades but they had blue pigmentation..

never thought id have to use this... but im done with all the holier than thou attitudes around here... there have been a couple pics posted on this thread... but you choose not to believe them.. thats not my problem, its yours... Sushi girl is not one to try and pass along phony info or to tell a lie... if she says she had a blue leather, i believe her...
