Blue leg hermits going suicidal?!

What the heck?I jus saw the freakiest weirdest thing.One of my blue leg hermits either pulled itself out of its shell or something took it out of its shell and now its dead?What the heck happened?Theres nothing in my tank to that can pull it out of it shell.Im uploading pics right now.

They can climb out on their own and if they are dead then they fall out. It's a hermit, that's what they do. They often change shells too and it's cool to see when they do it.
