Marley & Me
Ok so I didn't know when I got my 'coral banded shrimp' that he was different. Well, I didn't know there WERE different kinds. (I thought the golden ones were just the same as the regular, that just happened to be more colored up or something) I noticed someone mention "the blue ones won't get as big".
Mine is very gold with blue legs. First I thought it was just a golden one...but it has blue legs. So it's a Blue legged Yellow Boxer Shrimp.
Anyone have info on them, how they are different from regular white and red ones and the blue, white and red ones? Same size as the blues? Are they actually "Coral Banded Shrimp" at all? Is he suppossed to be more aggressive? (because he is very aggresive, kills all other shrimps and attempts to catch my fish, so far no luck but maybe he will catch the damsel that I want to return to the store for me!)
Life span? Any info would be great. I like him because he is beautiful and has gotten very bold, walking the whole tank...but I don't like him because I can't catch him and because of his aggression. I don't mind him having his own reef tank right now with 1 other fish, but eventually I would like to move tanks and I don't want him...so maybe I will wait until he dies of old age, if I knew when that was
