blue line hd 40 pump problem

I have a MRC 2r skimmer and the blue line 40 was making a terribel noise. I took it apart, first time taking one apart and discovered that the white ceramic shaft that goes through the magnet and into the bottom assembly had broken off. I have 2 questions. How do you get the rest of the shaft out of the casing. It has a pin that held it in and two where would I buy another one.

You should be able to just reach in there with some pliers and grab the part that's still stuck in the pump. As far as a replacement I don't know of anyone who carries much for external pumps or parts around here. I'm sure you can get one easily online
