Ive heard that linkia's can cause tank crashes if they die. I spotted my little linkia (3") the other day and he wasnt looking so good. He's been in the tank about 6-7 months and I suspect my new reef lobster of taking a snap at him as the linkia was missing one of his legs. I have done a small water change since, but Im just worried about this causing an issue with the rest of my tank. The linkia was moving around the sandbed when I saw him; his stub from the missing limb was white on the severed edge.
Any advice? Comments? I really dont wanna wipe out this tank due to a potentially dying little linkia. (Poor guy).
I have a QT that he could go into, but the QT is meant for fish and basic inverts, it doesnt have terribly stable water param's.
