Blue Reef Chromis - Survival Rate?

Looking for anyone having experience with keeping Blue Reef Chromis, in the past Chromis were the hardest fish for me to keep, i would get 5-6 with only half surving after a couple weeks. Seemed like the weaker fish would get picked off over time. Does the same go for Blue Reef Chromis? At 15-20 bucks a pop i would rather not buy too many. Looking to keep 3-4 in my 120.

I tried 6 a few months ago, adding at the same time to a system with 100 gallons of water and perfect parameters. They didnt do well, they arent the best shippers, the only thing I regret is that I didnt drip acclimate them so this may have helped.

I've tried on 2-3 occasions to keep green pseudo chromis' and have had zero success. I've always put 5-6 in the tank and one by one they died. I once watched one go from swimming around in the tank to drifting in the current, into the overflow, drifting in the sump, and finally dead in about 30 minutes for no apparent reason. Other folks keep them without a problem.

I have horrible luck with the green chromis. I have a 92g tank, bought 5 and they died down to 2. Bought 3 more to get 5 total, died down to 2. Bought 4 assuming 1 or 2 would die, nope, 4 died. Etc Etc, I finally stopped trying, apparantly my tank can only handle 2, kinda disappointed. I've wondered about the blue reefs though, I'll keep an eye on this cause I'd like to add some of them but curious about their survival rates.

yeah the blue reefs being 4 times the cost of the green it would suck to loose 3 or 4 of them. They are really cool looking.

I've been tryhing to find them at my LFS's. Now it makes sense because I'm in Florida and they are local fish (Key West). They are beautiful but I guess they don't take to tank life. Jim

Like others, I bought 5 and now have 2. I didn't perceive that the others got picked down, it just seemed like they spontaneously disappeared.

hmmm, good thing i asked, thinking twice about waisting the money. Maybe ill get some of the green chromis and lyertail anthias instead.
