Hey everyone, i was wondering if anyone had any experience keeping the blue spot angelfish? Also any experiences with it in a reef? i plan on having a lot of zoas and mushrooms.

I had one over 30 years ago. They are not difficult fish to keep.
Back then I had no corals in that tank, but they should be largely SPS safe. At least the Steinhart Aquarium in SF has one in a "smaller" reef tank with lots of SPS.
With zoas, soft-corals and LPS I would be careful.

Tore my leathers, acans, and zoas up. IME, out of 5 large angels during my reefing time every one went after acans, softies, soft LPS (like Torch and Duncans). But every tank is different, so it can be hit or miss. I have heard stories that their angels have not touched anything.

Of those the regal angel is the only one that could work out. Ideally you should get a juvenile.
