Blue Spot Squamosa - Sand or Rock?

We just brought home a blue spot squamosa. Are they happier on the rock or in the sand?

either will be fine. i keep all my clams that get large on the sand for stability and room to grow.

clams like moderate flow but as long as it is not directly pointed at them they can take higher levels.
