I tried to keep one. Got 2 from Liveaquaria. These ain't the easiest fish to keep. Be prepared to target feed a wide variety of foods, and probably best at least 2-3 times a day.

That's interesting Joel, the guy who told me about them has had one in a 180 for about 4 years with no problem, feeds Rod's, flake, New life spectrum. It's a fat sassy clown that swims up and down the glass until fed, That's why I got interested in 'em...Maybe a little more research is in order.
Seems like the wholesalers get them at certain times of the year... 'Cause I've been looking for one for a couple of months with no luck...

I kept one for a few (3-4) years up until the time I moved my systems from an old Elburn store. Great fish. It was only fed one type of food![]()

just an fyi, there are quite a few people around that had their problems with the bluspot, but lately it seems like there are more success stories around. search bluespotted jawfish disease and you will see what im talking about. I believe that the problems come from the way the fish are collected, so half the battle would be getting a properly caught and cared for fish. Maybe Sara will chime in, i know she had one, not sure if she still does.
