Blue spotted jawfish feeding

Hey all just got my BSJ and was wondering how often he should be fed? I read on live aquaria that they require 3 meals a day?? Is that true?

I used to feed mine my homemade food once a day and he was super fat and happy. I swear i saw fat rolls on him once.

Two is adequate for these guys. The only reason it says three is because in the wild jawfish wait for food to come to them so they will take any chance to feed in the wild and the same in the tank.

I target fed twice a day and he seemed very happy with this. They will eat a ton!

i have a pearly jawfish in my nanocube and he eats like a pig.. hoping to get a bsj for my 75.. beautiful creatures

I feed mine once a day, its staying healthy and happy. Sadly it made its home in my rock in the back of the tank, so the only time I see it is a quick zip to the food:thumbdown But its happy. I'm not going to try to relocate it.
