I don't think this is a superman, any ideas? The polyps under my 10k xms look brown.

between my camera and my lights it just doesn't look the same. It's a blue base with brownish polyps.

Your right, thats what it is. If you give a special name and people want it, then its golden.
 
Thats a pretty common monti. The superman is pretty much a variation of this monti with neon colors. I have seen what you described a lot at some LFS. I always wonder under the proper lighting if they would "superman"-up, but have never taken a chance.
 
Looks just like one I received also... A wild monti that is sold as a superman but comes in brown. Mine has not colored up much yet (been about almost two months) but the new growth on the edges looks just like all the other superman monti's I have seen. I just can't determine how much light they want. They edges that color up the best are actually kind of shaded because of the way the rock sits. Just be patient and I think you will find that the new growth has the colors you are looking for.
