Blue star leopard wrasse

Hi I was wondering if I could have a leopard wrasse. On live aquaria I read that they are for experts only. I am definitely not an expert. I would either be keeping it in a 25 gallon or 50 gallon tank. My LFS said it would be fine to have one is this true? If you have one could you please post a picture and say the pros and cons of getting one. Thanks in advance.

^^ Good reading on that thread. I'd also say those tanks wouldn't be suitable for it. LA is correct by saying expert only. Most indications point to them being a tough fish to care for.

Thanks I think I will skip it and do something different. Do you have any suggestions on fish for 25 gallon.

As the very long thread states, a tricky fish to acclimate. Once acclimated, a generally hardy fish ..... though doesn't tolerate tank moves well.

So are you saying if I am careful with acclimation it is possible for me to keep one if so which tank.

50 gallons should be your minimum, but bigger is better.
