Blue Streak Cleaner Wrasse Picking on Clams

I recently added an African Blue Streak cleaner wrasse http://m.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=16+1378+309&pcatid=309

I noticed all of my maximas wouldn't fully open the next day. Sure enough, I caught the wrasse pecking all of the clams. I caught him easily and added to a buddy's clamless tank. Has anyone else had problems with these wrasses?

Just and update, all my clams are open and fine. Be careful with these wrasses.

I saw Scott A's YouTube episode about the cleaner wrasse picking on his clams. Check it out. He is very knoweleable young reefer living somewhere in Colorado. He had the same issue like you did. He also ended up catching the wrasse and bringing it back to the LFS.
