Blue stripe or Jans's pipefish

So I have a 10ish gallon cube. I have no other fish in there, so far it's mostly NPS corals from the Atlantic. I was thinking about one or a pair of Jans's pipes. I have had these before and found that they adapt extremely well to prepared foods and quite hardy but had the opposite experience with bluestripes. Realizing that the tank may be a little small I was looking for input!

10 gallons seems pretty small for a Janss. Don't they get to be about 5-6" long? Also, just curious, what is NPS?

My female (now possibly male) bluestripe has done very well with prepared foods, but she also does ok without it. It seems like the bluestripes would stand a better chance of finding enough to eat in a well-established nano setup than the larger Janss, but I've never kept the latter.
