Blue tang and HLLE

My blue tang has HLLE and her fins are frayed. What can I do to help?

- Feed nutritious foods soaked in a vitamin supplement such as selcon. Soaking in garlic doesn't hurt but don't rely solely upon it.

- Keep your water quality impeccable (so probably lots of WCs)

- Check for stray voltage and always use a grounding probe (this may just be b/s when it comes to HLLE but it's a good idea to do anyway)

- Stop running carbon if you have been doing so (actually, there's more scientific evidence to backup this theory than the stray voltage thing)

No carbon, checked stray voltage, none. Feed frozen soaked in Selcon, all from the advice I got from my LFS. Thank you for the help. I've been trying to get her to recover for the last 6 months. Kinda disappointed, too bad really. All my other fish are fantastic.

Sometimes it just takes a really long time for them to recover. Unfortunately, sometimes they never recover, and just look worse and worse.
