Blue tang and ich

Hello all. I decided to get a blue tang, the so-called "ich magnet." The question I have is, what do I do about the ich. I have a ultraviolet sterilizer and the tank water quality is pretty good. I have some nitrates and the nitrites are at zero. My ammonia is up just a tiny bit since I did a tank shift. I want to say it is around .10. I even have a cleaner wrasse in there, but the tang has plenty of ich growing. What do I do about the ich? I have an anemone in there as well so copper is a no-no. Any suggestions or do I just wait it out. I have only had the tang for a week. I also noticed my puffer has just a few pieces of ich on it as well, but nothing serious.

You could wait it out and hope the fish cant fight it off, and hopefully the UV will help. Personally i dont thjink if id take the chance.
The recommended treatment is hypo, which means youd have to remove your fish into a qt tank and drop the salinity.

Also keep an eye on that amonia, dont let it go over .10

I do not have a quartine tank (don't shoot me), but I have a spare 10 gallon. How could I quickly set one up for my fish or is it too late?

i have a small tank set up with a modified powerhead that has a small filter attached. i took out the sponge of the filter so i could put some of my filter medium in it for instant bio-filtration.

the filter medium constantly sits in my main filtration system and i grab it out as needed.

i would wait it out..... by moving the tang it will stress it more, blue tangs are the most easily stressed. get a cleaner shrimp ASAP, keep up the UV sterilizer for at least 6 weeks and try and not stress the fish, let it hide in the rocks and leave it alone.

Has anyone heard anything good about Ich-X? Removing all of my fish from the main tank is quite literally impossible. I have too many fish and not enough space unless I can keep 30 inches in a 10 gallon. Haha. I have a puffer as well, so would a cleaner shrimp work or is it time for me to get rid of the puffer?
