Blue tang ich

ive kept a powder blue and naso, and never battled with Ich (fingers crossed). IMO I believe it has a lot to do with the food soaks I use (selcon and h20 life supplements). My orange shoulder sprouted black ich about a week after I got it and i didnt do anything to treat it except a good diet and it got over it fairly quickly and nothing else caught it.

Although its not a guarantee, i believe a good diet+food soak helps a lot

Hepatus tangs are highly susceptible to ich. And, by the way, should not be kept in a 70 gallon tank.

I've had a 2" blue for 3 weeks now. Key IMO is no harassment from tank mates and selcon or other supplements with his foods. Feed a couple times a day with vitamin enriched foods and nori. Blue's this size are among the most delicate fish in this hobby IMO. Good luck.

They can catch it pretty easily, but through quarantine they'll build a strong immune system to fight it off. At least it's not a black tang, you'll spot it quite easily.
