Blue tang issue

Hi guys, I just noticed this with my hippo blue. He has this thing coming out of his anus. I don't know if it is a parasite. Doesn't seem to be moving
I have had him for a month, eats well and looks healthy. Should I be concerned? View attachment 342858

may be worms. Is he in a DT or QT?

Looks like a tapeworm. You can treat with praziquantel. Prazipro is cheap and is pretty safe even in a display if he's already in the main tank. I always do 2-3 rounds of treatment just to be on the safe side.
