Well, my blue tang has been in my tank for about a week now. It was doing perfectly fine, eating algae, swimming etc. He recently started getting ich spots and what seems like small bumps under his skim. What can i do about this problem? Would soaking the food in kent's garlic extreme help? Any help would be highly appriciated. Thanks

I had this problem with a powder brown tang, they best thing you can do is pull out all your fish and quarentine them for 6-8 weeks, while doing a hyposalinity treatment. If you don't have a QT tank setup do that asap one big enough for all your fish. Use tank water to reduce a cycle in the QT tank.
Don't try the No Sick Fish medicine as it is trash.
Garlic won't kill the ich it will strengthen the immune system of the fish, so it wouldn't hurt to soak the food.

Thanks for the input! :) Also, is their anything in particular that should be fed to the blue tang besides algae sheets to maintain him healthy?
