Blue tang with "clear" spots around eyes. Anything to worry about?

Not sure if this is normal with growth or not because it didn't just pop up. The tang has had these spots for a while, but she's acting and eating fine. Not the best pics, but the best I could get.

She looks like she has HLLE. Remove carbon (if applicable), use vitamins, check for electrical stray voltage and feed more seaweed/nori. You could also do a search for HLLE. My understanding is there is no definitive answer as to what causes it.

Thanks! After doing some research, I think you're correct. I've noticed just in the past week, she's starting to show spots on her lateral line. I do not run carbon and her tank mates are not aggressive at all. However, I am not running a probe and have a lot of electrical running to my 72gal DT. She's been in a 25gal hospital tank for the past month about to begin copper treatment. The only electrical in the hospital tank is a HOB filter without carbon, heater and light(not touching water obviously). I will say though that she doesn't get the veggies she needs. I feed mysis and marine cuisine. Haven't given nori in a while and when I did, it wasn't daily. I'll pick up a probe and add vitamins and veggies to the diet. Hopefully I'll see a change for the better. Thanks man!

mine started w/ what I thought was same as yours.. I started adding a few drops of Zoecon to my every other day NORI regimen.. seems to have helped a lot.. might be worth a try.

Just put some nori in the tank and will begin that daily. I'll be picking up some Selcon as well. Any other dietary recommendations as far as veggies go? A particular flake or frozen food for example?
