I am currently running a 55G setup, but I got a 150G. I am planning on setting up the 150 in the spring. will a blue tang be ok in the 150? Would I be able to add the tang to my 55 then move him to the 150 in the spring? I have 2 clowns and a purple firefish currently in the 55. I also have 2 emerald crabs and 3 very small pieces of coral.

Reef Central recommends an 8 ft, 240 gallon minimum tank for an adult Blue Tang. The big ones can be quite aggressive, especially in smaller tanks.

The Blue Hippo tang (Dory). My daughter wanted one since she has "Nemo". I have looked at a few sites and they all list different size recommended aquarium sizes. Looking at the link above, RC is suggesting 240G. Cool thanks for the info!
