blue tangs, how long have you had it and how big?

Just trying to see what kind of growth rate people are getting with blue tangs.

So please include some relevant info:

How long you have had your blue tang? initial size and how big is it now? size tank too.

Please no heckling posters over their tank size...

I saw a well respected poster having kept his blue tang for 6 years and it went from 3" to 9.5".

I have a 4" blue tang, only had it for about a month in a 180g.

Also any ich issues? I havent had any yet and I cupramine 4 weeks at .5ppm.

I got mine in 2005 from someonewlese who had it for at least a few years.
Its in a 480g tankand topped out at around 7.5" years ago probably only grew 2"s tops since I bought it. Never had ich.

I have had mine for about 2 years now. Went from 4" to to 8.5"in a 150g. never had any ich issues with it.

4" to 6" in 18mo. 300g. Fish actually cam e with the tank apparently it was 1" when purchased, but I don't know how long ago that was.

Mine grew slow got it the size of a quarter or nickel 2 1/2yrs ago its now almost 5 inchs. Its in a 4ft 125gal. He is kept in check by my Atlantic blue tang about the same size. I have a yellow tang with em too he is on the bottom of the pecking order. I think the blue Hep knifed my Atlantic in the belly. It had a nasty deep clean gash 3/4" long last week. They seem to get along now.
