blue throat trigger in reef?

No trigger is "REEF SAFE" but the bluethroat IMO is reef safe. I have had one and he was great. I know people that have them and they are also great.

Yah I know that nothing is truly "reef" safe, but from what I have read on here, people have had awesome experiences. As a matter of fact, I haven't heard from anyone claiming that they ate anything more than a couple of tiny snails. I could live with that. I don't want to lose my SPS or other fish.

a friend of mine has about a 5-6" blue in his mixed reef and he doesnt hurt anything at all. I think you will be ok.

Are they reef safe with just corals??? I have a couple croceas and some cleaner and blood shrimp, as well as a sebae and rbta anemone. Woud any trigger leave that stuff alone? As for coral in the tank, there are a couple leathers, some zoos, ricordia, open and closed brain, and acropora.....

Yeah, I know a guy who has a male and female Blue Throat Trigger in his 380 reef tank. He has SPS, LPS, Soft Corals, hundreds of snails and crabs and they don't bother a thing. They also don't bother any of his clams.
