Blue Throat Trigger question

Will a Blue Throat eat my cleaner shrimp? I want to add one, but I've had skunk cleaner for a long time and I don't want it to be a snack.

it may eat when grow up... specially if not well fed
Should be fine for couple of months... but if shrimp is not carefull during mold... will be snack for sure..

Every fish is different, but generally blue throats are shrimp safe. I have had a pair of blue throats in my tank with 2 cleaners for over a year and they dont bother each other.

They are a great fish, shy at first but once they get adjusted there awesome.

It will usually be OK, as noted, but it's not a guarantee. If you're super attached to your cleaner, then I'd skip the trigger.

If the tank is on the smaller side, or you don't keep the trigger well fed, you'll be more likely to run into trouble.

My Bluethroat doesn't mess with even the smallest of peppermint shrimp.

The tank gets fed once a day during the week, and 5-6 small feeding throughout the day on weekends.

My blue throat is only 4 inches, doesn't touch any of the 15 shrimp in the tank, peppermints, bloods, cleaner and copper banded. Tank is a 490g. Been together for about 2 months.
Even when the Blue throat was initially in a 90g with 5 of 6 shrimp he never touched them. He was in the 90 for about 7 months.
