Blue Throat Trigger

I have read a lot and heard from my lfs that the safest reef safe trigger is the blue throat. So I was wondering if anyone has had experience and advice about this fish.

I have a pair in a mixed reef mostly LPS and softies and they are amazing. Never seen them pick at anything including coral or inverts. Not aggressive ime either.

niger, pinktail, ch...should be okay too but truly up to the individual fish...Tony Vargas wrote a great article on reef safe trigs...think it was Aquarium Mag Aug. 2009...

Also Sargassum trigger. I have both a blue throat in one tank and a Sargassum in another and they don't touch corals and are quite peaceful. They (triggers) are one of my favorite fish

Ok I have a 100 gallon and it's full of lps and softies. I just want to get a trigger that's not going to outgrow my tank also. Any suggestions on which trigger would not grow too big?

think you would be fine...Tony's article is mainly about nigers being reef safe,,,also mentions pinktails...he knows his stuff....
