Blue throat trigger

Hi all ? I was thinking of getting a blue throat trigger for a 55 he's only 2 inches I would upgrade or sell him when he gets to big anyways do you think he would eat all my snails, hermits, cleaner shrimp, abalone? Also I have a pistol shrimp with a pretty aggressive goby what do you all think? It's a reef tank lots of corals too but I hear there ok with that.

We've had Blue Throat Triggers in our mixed and SPS tanks for years without any problems. One thing to note, install a screen over your tank. In our experience, when BTT's get stressed or hassled, they jump. We lost one just last week because he jumped hard enough to displace the screen over the quarantine tank.

Tank is too small for a trigger. Bluethroat will be ok with corals. Will have to watch it with inverts

Agreed. Minimum 6ft 125 gallon for the Bluethroat.

too small tank, I have a 3 inch one in my 180. They leave inverts alone, and are generally good reef fish
