Blue tort in my nano

I would like to hear seasoned reef keepers opinion on keeping a blue tort in my bio cube hqi 29 gallon system. Right now I mostly have lps, one softy. I don't want to add a coral that don't stand a chance. The LFS is always looking for that dollar, they have had that tort since I bought my system, a long time... Our parameters are suitable for sps. Tank never really has a swing in parameters, my wife keeps a watchful eye on it. Comments suggestions?

As long as water is on point, especially alk, you should be fine. I had a Biocube for months that was mostly SPS.

My alk. Is at 11 dkh and thank you for your opinions

For Alk : The measure itself isn't nearly as important as its stability. Meaning test it 3-5 times through out the day. How much does it rise in fall? Thats what really matters. I know people who have gorgeous SPS tanks with like 8 DKH, and I know people that have there tanks at 12 DKH. Stability is the key.

This is true. Thats what I meant to say. Stability...not the actually number.
