Thanks A.G, those are stupid microbubbles.. My water level was a bit low, so the return was sucking some air and causing bubbles..

i dont think the second one is a miyagi tort, i have a miyagi and it doesnt look like your #2 photo. i agree that its a. austera, i dont think the first one is a formosa either... i would stick with it probably being a hoek

I dont think #2 is A. austera..the growth pattern doesnt even resemble the pics of austeras ive found..
