Blue Velvet Damsel for Adoption

Hi gang,

I've got a Blue Velvet Damsel (Neoglyphidodon oxyodon) that is a beautiful fish but is nipping at my corals. I'd like him to go to a good home in a fish-only tank. He's about 3" now but will grow. Anyone interested?

Christine

Hi gang,...

God, I love when you talk like that...

No takers on the evil dude, eh? Evidently he gets big and ugly and more aggressive...I can thank my brother for "giving" him to me. Ah well, I'm trying to get my employer to spring for a reef tank (if I can convince them that corals produce scientifically interesting compounds that I can grow up, isolate and use, it may just work:) ), and then he can come live here (in a separate tank).

speaking of your brother...i feel like i haven't seen doug around in ages, what's the deal with that?

you can throw him in my sump if you get desperate >.<

Doug and his family are in the middle of moving to Binghamton, so I don't anticipate you guys will be seeing much of him, except for here. For now, the fish in his tank got added to mine, thus the conflicts (his Tomato clown had to get her own tank in my apartment because she also doesn't play well with others. Maybe the start of a clownfish/anemone tank...

my friend tom is going to be setting up a 55 gallon damsel only tank. i can hold him for him till the tank cycles. i have a ten gallon qt tank setup right now. pm me your info.

How many gallons is your sump? I have no where else to live so I might take you up on that offer.

I occasionally poke my head in and see whats going on - I've been living in Binghamton during the week for the last two months and go back to LI on the weekends - but that time is all dealing with house stuff...

The relocation people have screwed up everything imaginable - so it hasnt been easy. I'm in and out of hotels every few days - because I cant close on my house up here until the relo company gets their act together and finally lets my buyer by the LI house. So I'm a homeless drifter...

There's really no fish stores or anything in this area - although I did overhear someone a few cubes down mention live rock...

Sorry Ray--my email notifications were getting sent to Spam. Yes, the fish is fine--I'll try to get him out this weekend and into my 10g quarantine, and if you guys want him he's all yours.

thanks Ray--
