Has anyone heard of the blueberry tourniquet coral? They have short stalks with a Rasberry upside shaped head on the end and are blue in color. Am I getting the name right and does anyone know what the real name is. I have been looking for and found one but the guy wont sell it or frag me a piece. I have been looking all over the internet with no luck in the name. I think im not spelling it right or something.

These animals are not corals at all, rather, they are "tunicates" or more properly, Ascidians. They are what they call a Urochordate, basically meaning that they are somewhat of a chordate when in larval stage. Kind of a "missing link" between vertebrates and invertebrates. Cool animals, but not necessarily very easy to keep (not at all).
