i cannot find any info on this bulb at all.. i just picked one up.. i turned it on for about a half hour.. it was a crispy clear with tinges of blue.. i have a Q though.. after i turned it off it already had a spot on the inside of the bulb where it was burning.. is that normal?? this is my first brand new bulb.. my other bulbs i have gotten were all used 2 months..so i was unsure if it was normal for it to hapen that fast.. also any info on thses bulbs would be great, i cant seem to find anything on them.. PAR readings would be good to know as well, i just switched from a 14K Hamilton, and would like to know the difference..thanks

I run two of these on my 75 gallon. They are labeled as 10K+. Sanjay has some info on them on his website. I like them, but I am thinking of switching to XM 20K or Radiums on the next bulb change (I want to get a little more color out of the corals).

what kind of growth rates were you getting from them?? on my bulb is says 14000K, thats why i was confused about the 10K+.. they also seem to be weaker than the Hamiltons.. i prob should have just gotten that, they shipped the wrong bulb, so i just took it..

ive been using them for about a year i have 250 watt 20 ks the growth seems pretty typical but i have great color!!

I get fairly good growth and color from these bulbs. I have been running them since 9/05. Give them a try, I think you will be happy with them.

to be honest i do not like it at all compared to my hamilton 14K.. i think im gonna get rid of it.. less than 8 hours burn time..will the color get better if i wait a little longer?? what did you notice??
