Bluespot Jawfish Q

Anyone have luck keeping one long term? I want one, but it appears they are tough to keep alive. With the high price tag, I'm not sure if I should risk it.

Is it the same as keeping a yellow jawfish, I had mine 2+ years until I got ich

As long as you have a dsb & a tank that's covered every where you should be fine. I've had mine for about 8 months now w/ out any problems. The first one I had for almost 2 years until I carelessly left the lid open for awhile & didn't notice he had jumped. My favorite fish. Lots of personality!!! The prices seem to be coming down on them lately. I've seen them as cheap as $60 at the lfs recently. Here's a cool pic of mine!!

ive had mine for about 3 months now all is okay and he eats like a pig give him plenty of small rubble and deep base they do fine make sure u have a cover my first bluespot and redhead took the leap of death they are just awesome to watch
