Well, if you have been reading my threads, you know I am trying to spawn Blackcap Bassletts (Gramma maculara).
So far I have managed peaceful co-existence of what I believe is a male and female pair. I need a LOT of work on my tank photography, but for those who have asked, here is a picture of the two fish in the same frame. The picture was taken at "feeding time" which is why there is flake food scattered about the picture. Other than at feeding time the female is almost never visible (she stays in the rock work) and the shots I tried to take of the pair on the first day when they were doing "display behavior" for one another are even WORSE than this one. Sorry, I will keep trying for something worth looking at.
The photo is crappy, but even if they never spawn it is more than worth it to me to see two such beautiful fish in the same tank. Given their reputation for fierce defense of their territories, I guess even this much is something to savor.
