Bonsai acro - white tips

I have a bonsai thats been happy fro a few months in my tank and growing slow, but growing none the less.

Last week I noticed whitening of the tips, assumed it was just new growth, but the skin is indeed receeding/dying off. Any idea what I should check ? I havent changed anything and params are good, 1.025, recent water change.. I have a lot of SPS in the tank and the rest seems ok.

sounds like alk swings though it could just be something nipping at it.

Samething happened to me with a bonsai also and two other frags. Beside alk swing, what could it be? light acclimation? high/low PO4? pest?
