BOO!- Halloween related stuff

I've always like Halloween. I miss taking the kids trick or treating and raiding their candy for something chocolate. Corn mazes can be fun but it's been muddy lately. I need alternatives to bobbing for apples!
How about this place:

Haunted Hayrides of Rochester

Has anybody here gone there? It's pricey and it's way the heck out in Williamson. (Why do they call it the Haunted Hayrides of ROCHESTER?)

I heard there's a big Halloween Party in Buffalo tonight. Costume contest, bands and all. What's going on?
 
There is a haunted house in Rochester that I believe was the old Eastman dental center that is amazing. If you haven't been there it is very cool.
 
Just went to website rochesterhouseofpain says city of Rochester closed them down. Maybe it's located in China now like everything else that is worth anything.
 
We (wife and some friends) went to the corn maze at Long Acre Farms last Saturday night. We had a blast. It took us about 2 hours to find our way out.
 
The House of Pain was seriously awesome...such a shame they shut it down. The hayride in Williamson is awesome!!! Well worth the drive.
