Bopyrid Isopod removal

Has anybody ever removed successfully Bopyrid Isopods from a crab?

One of my porcelain crabs has a bump on its right side that's a pretty clear indicator of bopyrid isopods sitting in its right gill cavity.

But unlike with shrimp you can't see the evildoer directly and the shell of the crab has a normal bend there and therefore removal seems to be quite tricky.
So I would highly appreciate any guidance if available.

I don't want to leave it where it is because since it showed the crab behaves differently: it won't go into an anemone and only hangs out on top of the powerheads. And due to the drainage from the parasites it seems to have lost strength as well. It lost 2 of its legs and a pincher that got stuck in the powerheads.
