Are you bring your bride with you to the meet? if so please ask her to bring the camera. I would like to see my corals through the lens of a good camera. Sweet pics.
 
thanks man. I hope she will come. I actually took these pics :D....after she taught me how to use the camera (many times with me asking the same questions over and over again). She takes much better pictures than I do but I'm trying..
 
what size lense you using.
I can never get that close up with mine. I only have a 30-50mm and a telephoto for the racetrack. Would love to pick up a macro lense but need money first.
fantastic pics though, Ill bring my camera to the next meet if she comes, can she doing an overhead slide show on how to use a camera, HAHAH
 
it's the canon 100mm macro. and using it on the rebel since it has a 1.6x crop sensor (the sensor is smaller than a 'standard' 35mm sensor), gives it an effective boost to 160mm.
