- Boris The Blade? - Yeah.
As in Boris The Bullet-Dodger?
Why do they call him The Bullet-Dodger?
Because he dodges bullets, Avi.

Cool video. The one out the back window it point at your car, right? If so, what is the camera car?

BTW, love the rally video and not so impressed with your driving stunt video ;)

Remember these are my brother's videos, not mine...hehe.. that stunt one was his idea of a joke... camera car is the Mazdaspeed 3... amazing how much power it saps out of our little 2.0's when you have that air conditioning on... like a totally different car, and the backroads one was filmed on my lunch hour a couple days ago...hehe..

I missed the rally, but my dad and brother went, said there were several very expensive rally only vehicles there...

I really like Mantis Shrimp. I hope to have a set up for one later. Boris is one beautiful Mantis, how big is he? Hope to see you at the meeting.

Boris is about 5 inches long. He just molted so his colors are incredible. He is one aggressive dude... makes it hard to clean the tank and worst of all I am going through that hair algae phase...grrr... anyhoo.. I'll be the one greeting at the door... so see you there!

Boris is gorgeous! I have only seen pictures of mantis in books. His colors are amazing. He definitely has an attitude. I read that they kill for sport and not neccesarily to eat their prey. It must be a territorial issue like cichlids. Good video!

Glad to hear your volunteering! I think we have another volunteer for that position. It would be great to have a couple people rotating that position so we would always have the door covered!

Kill for sport? I haven't seen that in the mantis that I have kept for several years, but that doesn't mean much.. I have seen them investigating things and one of the things they check things out with is by smacking it... Boris has several snails in his tank, but only bothers them when he is hungry.. It took him all this time to finally eat the hermit crab I bought for him when I bought him..soo.. dunno

They do like to pick up things and "decorate" their dens with them. I have a small N. Wennarae (that's the little guys you will see hitchiking on live rock) that smacks pieces of coralline algae off of the back wall of my nano-cube and pulls down into his den.. hehe.. must like the color.. But they will build pretty elaborate dens with a lot of stacking and shifting of rubble, shells, unattached corals... hehe.... amazing animals!
