I've got a small crocea that I'd like to start bowl feeding. (I'm trying to deal with hair algae, so I figure it's best not to add any more nutrients to the tank than I have to.)
Unless someone out there says 1 teaspoon of phyto a day into a 90 gal tank is not going to add excessive nutrients, I'd better bowl feed.
I know you add just enough to tint the water slightly, but I can't seem to find how long to leave the clam in the bowl. I'm guessing not long, but how long is not long? 10 minutes? 2 hours?
Lousy picture, but here it is.
Thanks!
