That is some good info. You will find the coral gets much more nutrition if you grind up the food size first, these brains may take in a whole chunk of shrimp, a whole mysis etc, but hours later/during the nite they extrude it back out almost in whole form, 99% undigested.
Blenderized feed/small particle feed sticks to their mesenteries far far better and will make them healthier over time in my opinion. In the ocean they have access to pods and zooplankton a thousandfold more often than they get a whole live shrimp crawling into them to be eaten or dying right on top of the polyp so their slow ingestion has time to intake... Some feeding is better than none, but you will find that blenderized feed is far better or at least smaller feed items. They are still getting some nutrient off the whole meat chunks but they'll get more nutrients on a quarter waste input for your tank if you'll hand prepare the feed, blenderized!
There is nothing wrong with this coral so far it looks great, these are all just opinions for the coming months.
