Brain question, this normal?

My new brain coral I just added to the tank, that hole in the center of them (mouth?) It was closed when I put him in there but now kind of spread apart and opened where you can look inside of him lol. This normal or whats it doing?

Did you acclimate him for a while? Mine was a bit shooken up but he closed up over time when he relaxed and got used to the new surroundings
